America was founded, shaped, and built in large measure by immigrants
seeking freedom and opportunity. Since 1820, more than 70 million immigrants
have entered the United States legally, and each new wave stirred
controversy in its day... but current critics of immigration are as wrong as
their counterparts were in previous eras.
Immigration is not undermining the American experiment; it is an
integral part of it. We are a nation of immigrants. Successive waves of
immigrants have kept our country demographically young, enriched our
culture, and added to our productive capacity as a nation, enhancing our
influence in the world.

- My involvement in politics started at age 6, walking precincts and carrying petitions for environmental and social causes. I identify as a classical liberal and a traditional conservative, believing in freedom and acceptance for each individual regardless of differences from me or my views. I am fed up with overbearing, dictatorial government that infringes on our freedom, privacy and property. Government is making us into slaves, leaving ever less for our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Study history: traditional conservative and classical liberalism are very similar. That was eye-opening for me! No surprise that thoughtful conservatives understand social acceptance is required for liberty. Bestow liberty onto others, respect others in difference, and demand liberty and respect for your own views, life choices and property. Do look up the old English use of property... the Bill of Rights takes on a richer and more holistic meaning! Live Freedom as a two-way street. Make our world a better place. Empower everyone to participate in American freedom and opportunity. And reduce government at all levels into balance with the People.
